About Me

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I grew up being outdoors, and try to do as much hiking, camping, and backpacking as I can. I also spend quite a bit of time wrangling my two Australian shepherds.

Professional Interests

Starting at the University of Utah I initially was dual majoring in Chemistry and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Utah. After taking additional mathematics courses, I shifted from chemistry to mathematics. My primary interests include climate science, environmental policy, and teaching. After taking a professional development course I started working with the Hallar Aerosol Research Team investigating wintertime pollution during extreme inversion events across the Wasatch Front.  My environmental policy experience has mostly been a result of involvement in political campaigns advocating environmental policy. Along with my education I privately tutor chemistry and math especially with struggling high school students trying to graduate. Upon graduation from the University of Utah I plan to begin a Ph.D program centered around aerosol-climate interactions.
