Noah Hirshorn successfully defended his thesis on May 26 titled “The Impacts of New Particle Formation on Cloud Condensation Nuclei at Storm Peak Laboratory”. As part of his M.S., Noah worked with aerosol data, cloud condensation nuclei data, trace gas data, and developed automatic methods to classify new particle formation and the potential impact on cloud condensation nuclei at Storm Peak Laboratory. His work is currently going through the review process in Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics.
