While the University of Utah isn’t the closest university to an ocean, that doesn’t stop previous HART group member Jordann Brendecke from successfully pursuing research focused on maritime aerosol. Jordann, a HART member from 2017 to 2018, is the first author of a recently accepted publication titled “Maritime Aerosol and CCN profiles derived from ship-based measurements over Eastern North Pacific during MAGIC” in AGU Earth and Space Science. The paper details aerosol and cloud properties over the Eastern North Pacific utilizing ship-based measurements and retrievals of cloud condensation nuclei and condensation nuclei. To learn more about the specific conclusions made in Jordann’s research, a link to the paper is provided below.
Jordann recently earned a master’s degree from the University of Arizona and completed his undergraduate work at the University of Utah. Congratulations Jordann!
